I’m down to the wire in preparing for our vendor table at this year’s NAPCP Retreat in Vail! I finished stuffing envelopes for the swag bags and tying them up with string this morning, and just received our 8-page branding catalogue from the FedEx guy a few minutes ago. If you’re one of the lucky 50 people attending, you have a photoshop tip on vibrance and saturation coming your way – because your photoshop editing style is just as much a part of your brand as your logo is. And we all know how difficult it is to push vibrancy without over-saturating skin tones! Here’s a peek as some of the treasures we’re taking to Vail with us:

As exciting as that is, we have something even more exciting to share with you: Jane Johnson Photography & Branding Design, LLC is now a bi-coastal team of four!
I met Liz over a year ago at my 2010 Be Thou My Vision: A Women’s Retreat for Photographers. We’ve stayed in close contact ever since, and actually began the discussion of adding her to my team seven months ago. Just a few days ago, after much praying, I finally made the leap. I’m absolutely thrilled to say that Liz has now officially grown my team to four. And since she’s in Virginia, we pretty much have this country covered!

Liz Cook is a reputable wedding photographer based in Virginia with a widespread design background and is now working with us focusing on brand development and print design. Like me, she enjoys designing all-things-paper and worked as a professional web designer before pursuing a full-time photography business. Her work has been featured in O Magazine and a variety of other local publications. Liz is known for her style of simplicity, bold colors and soft light, making her a seamless addition to our growing team. Traveling, spending time with her husband, and curling up on the couch with a good movie are just a few of Liz’s favorite activities. She is also looking forward to the new addition to her family this fall.
Beginning August 1, Liz will be working closely with me to not only assist in brand development and all things print design, but she’ll also be helping create our new line of templates designed specifically for Focused by WHCC as well as new template products for The Bee’s Knees. I constantly get asked the question “Jane, how do you do it all?” I’m proud to say that I can’t. But I have an amazing team around me. And together, we can. Happy Wednesday!
