Yesterday I shared Brian and Jordann’s destination wedding at Azul Beach Hotel in Cancun. Today I’m sharing their day after session. Like I mentioned yesterday, all of our destination wedding packages include full wedding day coverage, the bride’s choice of engagement session, rehearsal coverage or a day after fashion shoot, a second photographer, and all traveling fees.
Jordann chose to take advantage of the day after shoot – an easy stress-free way to get a couple of hours of just you and your new husband without the pressure of awaiting guests or itineraries.
It also allows for much more creative shooting time during which I apply my fashion photography experience to this more outside-the-box session.
In Brian and Jordann’s case, we walked up and down the sugar sands lining the Caribbean Sea and stopped when we were inspired. Lucky for them we had a handful of overwater bungalows to choose from, as well as a beachside hammock, canopy beach beds, and a picture-perfect pink sunset that provided the beautiful icing on the cake.
And as the last of the Cancun light slipped away, Brian and Jordann walked hand in hand back to their room, and I selfishly hopped onto the end of the dock with my husband for our own photograph. After all, it’s not every day that you find yourself shooting waist-deep in the Carribean Sea in your bikini.
