Sweet Friendship: Hood River Wedding Photographer

I’m fresh off of a whirlwind four weeks that involved traveling to seven different cities in three different states.  As I drug my suitcase upstairs for the last time yesterday, I collapsed in my bed and slept for three hours.  Then proceeded to sit in bed for the remainder of the day with my laptop and camera bag downloading and culling images.  I never really knew what the term “no rest for the weary” meant so I googled it: “You must keep persevering no matter how tired or overworked you are.”  Boy do I feel every word of that.  But still… I love my job.  I love that I get to be creative every day.  While we were lounging in the lazy river of our hotel in Vegas last week, I kept thinking about the creative projects awaiting me at home, and I couldn’t help but be excited.  I’m not sure if that’s a sign of simply loving my job, or a sign that I’m becoming a workaholic.  Probably a little bit of both.

But just when my body questions why I keep pushing myself at this pace, I photograph a moment like this.  And I’m inspired to keep pushing forward. Because really, I do have the best job out there.

Happy Monday!

Sweet friendship.
