I meant to put this session share up yesterday, but the cold germs got the best of me and I spent my day in bed watching a Say Yes to the Dress marathon on netflix. Everyone needs a break once in awhile, right? Anyway, I’m thrilled to share this senior session with you. I met Lauren 12 years ago when she was only six years old. I was in college, and her dad was (and still is) the pastor of Calvary Chapel Corvallis, the church I went to (and ultimately where my husband and I met). Lauren and her mom, Susie, came out to Bend to spend the night with us, do Lauren’s senior photos, and get dinner together. It was so fun having them over on this side of the mountains, even if it was only for one night. You can see where Lauren gets her good looks from:

I took Lauren out to my very favorite, limited-access, amazingly beautiful shooting location, and photographed like crazy. She made my job so easy, laughing constantly (because I’m so incredibly funny), and she was so comfortable in front of the camera. We literally shot until there was no light left. And then we got a quick one of us:

Before settling in for the night with our tummys full of delicious thai food, bowls of ice cream, and reruns of The Office playing on tv. Lauren, I’m so glad you made the trip just to have my photograph you in honor of your senior year. You’re gorgeous, and I can’t wait to see what God has for you as you move on from high school! Happy Wednesday!
