On top of editing our holiday sessions, working on new templates for The Bee’s Knees, and tackling some new writing projects we have coming up for the new year, we’ve been busy behind the scenes here making sparkly new brands for photographers. I know – I don’t know how we do it all either. But we do have a couple new brands to share with you this week!
First up: Adele Lee Photography.
Adele came to us this fall wanting a new look for her photography business. Hailing from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, she is also from the mountains and she always wanted a logo that somehow displayed the contrast. She felt like her photography falls into two categories: land or sea. Green or blue. Beach or mountains. After investing in just defining her style for a couple of years, she was ready to move forward on a new brand with an established style that both she, and her clients, recognize. Photographers: I can’t express how important this is! Because she already knew exactly what she wanted, and specifically what her style was, it made my job incredibly easy. In fact, we nailed her logo in the first round.
The end result: a custom illustrated brand that strongly stands on its own, but is complemented by a subtle wood-grain pattern that is found both in the driftwood on the South Carolina beach, as well as in the forest of the mountains she loves. See for yourself in her branding board below. Happy Monday!
