Miss Lottie Belle – Pictures of Hope

I visited the NICU before Thanksgiving for another round of sessions, and every time I go in I think I leave more blessed than the parents who are getting the photos.  On this particular morning, I was lucky enough to meet Miss Lottie Belle.  And really, how can you not love her name?  Lottie Belle is one of what was originally triplets, and she is the strong survivor that made it through to the end.  Mom has from a bicornuate uterus (which means it’s heart-shaped) – a condition that accounts for up to 25% of all premature births.  And the reason Lottie Belle and I met.  Although she was eating during our shoot, she was the perfect little model.

I have a feeling we’ll be seeing more of Miss Lottie Belle as she grows up into her cowboy boots in Prineville.  Until then, enjoy her miracle story in photographs.  Happy Monday!

Cathrin:
