Introducing Mia & Ali: Pictures of Hope

I have another recent NICU share for you today from a trip to St. Charles Medical Center I took before Christmas.  I just love walking into the NICU and seeing Miss Annabelle’s face greeting you with a smile on a large 40×40 canvas:

I’ve photographed quite a few multiples in recent trips to the NICU, and I love every second of it.  My time with Mia and Ali was no different.  I’m sure you’ll fall in love with them just as much as I did!

One of my favorite things about photographing twins is putting them in the same crib together.  Usually, their parents are seeing them together that closely for the first time since they were born.  This series of photographs of Mia and Ali together made me laugh as I imagined a conversation they could have been having.  As one whispered their escape plan, the other eyed me nervously:

And because she was distracted by me, her sister had to yell to get her attention: “WE’RE GETTING OUTTA HERE!”

And finally, a look of satisfaction.  The perfect plan hatched.

Happy Tuesday!
