It was a beautiful summer day. Jake and Sarah were about to tie the knot in a Central Oregon wedding in the mountains along the Metolious River at the gorgeous House on Metolious. Surrounded by the very same pines engraved on his still-shiny wedding band. They met in a statistics class at Oregon State University (my alma mater), and the toasts were rampant with “What are the odds?” jokes. The best man did figure it out, however. And the number was astounding. The chances of them meeting in all of the statistics classes throughout their time at OSU was something like one in 14 million. You could say they were meant to be together. And photographing their wedding was such a privilege.
